Writing is Sculpting

Writing a novel is much like carving a statue. You have a vision, a blueprint, and a chisel. Little by little, you hammer away. Sometimes you chisel too much and have to start over. Sometimes the blueprint goes against your initial vision. But then, the beauty of the work begins to take form. It’s time to bring that form to fruition!
